About Us
Zeyla is the story of a journey over centuries. Her founding father, Reşit Hüseynat Hatay, laid the foundations of Zeyla in the 1840s. He was a feudal lord who reflected the socio-economic reality of that time. During the First World War, whilst enduring very difficult times, he struggled significantly to protect his wealth, his trade and, most importantly, the independence of Hatay, the city where he lived. The newly established Republic honoured him with the surname HATAY, which is the name of the city, for his service in the cause of independence. Reşit Hüseynat HATAY handed down this heritage, which has immense material and spiritual value dating back centuries, to his grandchildren, and one of his descendants, Halit Şirkan HATAY, has been striving for 25 years to take the Zeyla brand from local to global.
Zeyla has spread out into the world like an oak tree, rooted in her origins. Zeyla supplies high-quality, reasonably priced, customisable concept designs for hospital, hotel, education complex, residential and administrative office projects, including medical equipment, medical furniture, educational and office furniture, residential kitchens, industrial kitchens and laundry equipments.
